Timeline Featuring Chris Joslin: For G-Ma | Episode 3

The saga continues with Chris Joslin in part three of his ongoing series in Timeline. As previously mentioned in parts one and two, the past year for Joslin has been the most challenging as he set his mark on filming a street video part in Barcelona while juggling his time between contests and raising his two children back at home. It is a tall order for any ordinary skateboarder, but with Joslin’s relentless determination and his Grandmother looking down on him, anything he sets his mind to is possible.

“I don’t think I was too aware of what I was like getting myself into…damn this is getting hard to finish right now.”

After three trips to Barcelona and his deadline nearing, Joslin goes back for a fourth and final time, “I don’t think I can come back again after this. So this has to be the last one. It has to be out by December, we got a contest each month. I can’t miss the weekends I do have left with the kids this year like this is it.”

The pressure to finish on time isn’t the only obstacle on Joslin’s mind as he continues to cope with the loss of his Grandmother, who acts as a higher power that’s with him all the time. “Joyce was my grandmother’s name and this video part would not be what it is without her. Even deceased, she literally carried me through this video part.”

Stay tuned for more details to come on what Chris Joslin is calling “the best part I’ve filmed in the last ten years.”
