Animated off the board and dialed in everytime she drops in, Minna Stess is a young veteran. By the age of 18, she found her way from Petaluma, California to the Olympic Games, and upon her return home from Paris 2024 her town threw a huge surprise for her. Talk about hometown hero status. She deserves it, though. She has more than a decade of contest experience under her belt and she shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, she looks to be speeding up. Minna’s style in the bowl is on another level. She speeds through carves, flows through transfers, not afraid to take to the air and flip her board, plus she has a variety of lip tricks from Andrecht handplants to long grinds to round things out. More is still to come from Minna, though. Stay tuned.
