Mizuho Hasegawa

Mizuho Hasegawa is from Ibaraki, Japan and was inspired to try skateboarding by her mom, Kazuko, who is a skateboarder and snowboarder. Part of a two rising movements between Japanese skateboard dominance and women’s vert skating, Mizuho's been sponsored by H-Street Skateboards since age 10. When she is spending time skating  in the U.S., Mizuho stays with H-Street owner and all-around legendary skateboarder Tony "T-Mag" Magnusson and his wife Monica—she considers them both mentors. Mizuho says her favorite skaters are Lizzie Armanto and Nora Vasconcellos, so when it comes to inspiration she’s got no shortage of talent to look up to. However, it is Mizuho that is inspiring us.
