Yuro Nagahara

Yuro Nagahara stunned the crowd, the judges and his homies at the first-ever Rockstar Energy Open. Yuro not only won the event and the hearts of everyone, he also won a dog from a fan in the crowd! Did he take it? We actually aren’t sure, but what we do know is that we are forever fans of this guy. The next year he backed up his RSEO title with a 2nd place finish. An Olympian from the Paris Games, and a semi regular to the World Skate podiums, Yuro’s been taking his show worldwide. His parents are both skaters and snowboarders, and he grew up skating at the Hakuba True Players skatepark in his hometown. He skates with precision and a full-send mentality. Turned pro for H-Street in 2021 and now skates for a new Japanese brand, Tanabata alongside some of the heaviest bowl skaters of all time.
