Lilly Stoephasius

A champion of classic, old-school style in today’s new generation of transition skaters, Lilly Stoephasius is the perfect example of ushering in a new era while paying homage to skateboarding’s roots. A product of her environment, Lilly grew up on a skateboard, first riding on her father’s board as a baby before owning her own by age five. From there she became a regular on the vert ramp in Germany’s Berlin Skatehalle where she honed her skills quietly before unleashing them internationally. Lilly earned the title of Olympian in 2021 skating for Germany at the Tokyo Games in Park, though it wasn’t yet her breakout moment. But in 2022 she showed up to Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert to take the win, then in 2023 she claimed the famed Vert Attack title. Since then she has been hard to stop but easy to spot on podiums from X Games to Tampa.
