Mizuho Hasegawa

Mizuho Hasegawa is from Ibaraki, Japan and was inspired to try skateboarding by her mom, Kazuko, who is a skateboarder and snowboarder. Part of a two rising movements between Japanese skateboard dominance and women’s vert skating, Mizuho's been sponsored by H-Street Skateboards since age 10. When skating in the U.S., Mizuho stays with H-Street owner and all-around legendary skateboarder Tony "T-Mag" Magnusson and his wife Monica—she considers them both mentors, she’s got no shortage of talent to look up to. However, it is Mizuho that is inspiring us. In recent years she has made more podiums than we think she has missed! Skating in both park and vert events, Mizuho has been seen winning it all from the Tampa Pro, World Skate tour, Exposure events, Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert series, at X Games and she even got back-to-back titles at the first two Rockstar Energy Open events.
