Cameron Spalding

Few have the frame of mind mid air to stop their spin and rewind before putting it down, but for Cameron Spalding he has the knack it takes to make it look natural. With the awareness of a gymnast, Cameron’s snowboarding style has become that of a technical style that bends the brain to watch. Cameron says he is a product of an entire generation of Canadian snowboarders to be inspired by Mark McMorris, and now he is competing alongside him. In January of 2025 he found himself not only beating Mark but bested the entire field in slopestyle at the FIS World Cup event in Laax to take the 1st place finish. He went on to earn the 2024-25 season Crystal Globe. It is safe to say that Cameron’s well on his way to inspiring a generation of Canadians, too.
