Jesse Parkinson

Singled out for an interview in Monster Children, Jesse Parkinson (snowboarder) is so sick that he was uncharacteristically (for the mage) featured in the surf, art and culture rag. The yaroomba, Sunshine Coast native did grow up surfing, though, and is still capable of catching waves. But his abilities on a snowboard are what are earning him international praise. In 2021 and in 2022, Jesse hopped over to Cardona to win slopestyle at both an FIS event and the Australian New Zealand Cup. Then in 2025 he returned to the Australian New Zealand Cup to earn 3rd in big air, proving his well-rounded chops extend from the beach to biggest of booters. Jessee put it all to show for his VQS submission, too. His entry managed to earn him an invite to compete at the inaugural snowboard Rockstar Energy Open in the onsite qualifier in Colorado.
