Luke Winkelmann

An ice coast native from Blowing Rock, North Carolina, Luke Winkelmann has carved out his space in the snowboard world. His first major contest win came on his 21st birthday in Copper, Colorado in streetstyle at Dew Tour, but before and since then he has been finding the podium at everything from slopestyle events at FIS World Cups to the X Games Knuckle Huck. Still, contests only paint a small picture of what Luke brings to the snowboarding community. In 2023 he was featured in Burton’s Blooom flick, and without question stacked some seriously impressive keeps that has everyone from Burton and beyond paying close attention to his next moves (especially if a rooftop is involved). Keep an eye out for Luke in the streets or dropping into the course, he has something for everything.
