Øynind Kirkhus knows how to go big, and he does it with complete control. Flying in from Gjettum, Norway, when Øynind hits the booter he does not hold anything back. Triples corks, he’s got ‘em. Quad corks, yeah, those too. But it is not all about hucking with Øynind, he has learned to translate that same midair awareness to rails. In the streets he is putting down stylish, tech moves on kinked handrails, in a way that keeps you engaged from start to finish. All in all, he is an ATV. In his 2025 VQS entry he put it all on display, too. Not only did the entry win him the “Best Video Entry” for his week of submissions, but it ultimately earned him an invite to compete at the inaugural snowboard Rockstar Energy Open in the onsite qualifier.
