2024 Rockstar Energy Open Skateboarder

Ruby Lilley

Raw skating and good manners don’t typically go hand in hand, but Ruby Lilley will be the first one to knock out a nosegrind on the gnarliest transition on any given day and back it up by saying “please” and “thank you” more than the rest of the crew combined. That’s just the way Ruby is, raw and well mannered. Originally from  Ocean City, Maryland, Ruby grew up skating at Ocean Bowl Skatepark with her older brothers David and Jonathan (and her mom, quad rollerskater Lisa Lilley). By the age of 15 she had not only found her way onto an X Games podium with a silver medal in 2022. At 17 she became an Olympian and represented Team USA in the women’s skateboard park event in Paris, France. It would seem like she has already lived a full life as a professional, but in reality Ruby is just getting started.
