2024 Rockstar Energy Open Skateboarder

Torey Pudwill

A natural born hustler and the longest ledge slider in the game, nobody does it quite like Torey Pudwill. Regardless of weather, there is a good chance Torey will be rocking a tall beanie on the session, and there is an even greater chance that when given the chance he will out slide anyone when it comes to going the distance on a ledge. Back tailslides and lipslides are two of signatures, with flips in and/or out as he sees fit. When he was just 12 years old he started his Grizzly Griptape brand that has over the years flourished into a major brand with some of the best proud to be repping it. A hustler never stops, though. Between pulling results at contests like 2nd at the 2021 CPH Open on the Lurblaser Ledges and 2nd at the 2017 Street League Skateboarding Chicago contest, there is little doubt as to Torey’s ability to perform under pressure. He’s also known for releasing some of skateboarding's favorite video parts from his 2010 part in TransWorld SKATEboarding’s  Hallelujah to his Thrasher Big Bang and Bigger Bang parts before dropping his Plan B section in True. Since then, Torey and longtime friend Daewon Song joined forces to create Thank You Skateboarding and continue on their personal journeys to give back to skateboarding (and tech wizardy).
