Greg Rodriguez retraces his steps back to El Sereno, the park where he started dialing in the flip-in tech repertoire he’s become known for. Smaller than he remembers, after putting in some quality reps, Greg is satisfied with his stomping grounds session, and we’re off to the next. But first, we get a quick glance at his lowered Chevy truck with the Mexican flag-wrapped hood.
Next stop: Innercity Skateshop in Lincoln Heights, aka “second home,” says Greg. Innercity was his first sponsor. They’re the homies who helped him out with everything he needed while he was still on the come-up.
Greg takes us to two more spots before the day is done: the East Los Angeles Courthouse for a few line clips, and the final spot of the day at Sunrise Elementary School, where he gets the bust but also lands a couple of tricks.
