Meet up with Blake Carpenter in Daytona Beach, Florida, for a typical day of skating Spot to Spot to stitch together a session. Blake shares a little about life recently on Vinyl Skateboards (launched in 2025) and putting together the NSB Skate Open 2026 in his hometown. “I’m working on a part for Vinyl Skateboards and trying to stay as young as I can,” says Blake. “Trying to learn as much as possible.” Wise words from one skilled Carpenter.
It ended up being too windy for slappys at the slappy spot, so Blake was one and done. But a few tricks were bagged by him and the boys, Kane Hambrick and Devin Bagnoli, on something else before they bounced. They end up getting kicked out of the next spot behind the Volusia Mall, but again, not before a couple clips were stacked. Then it is off to New Smyrna Beach Skatepark for some easy hits sans bust to end the day. Easy for them, not for the rest of us.
