Truth Smith

Way back in 2021, King Snow Magazine did a spotlight on Truth Smith saying he was, “ an up-and-comer making noise for all the right reasons,” and we couldn’t agree more…except, now he is no longer an ‘up-and-comer.’ The Whistler-raise Canadian has since been jetsetting around the globe for contests, and has found success. In 2023, Truth took home the silver at the Australian New Zealand Cup. Though his reputation as an incredibly nice person is entirely true, if you find yourself in an event against him you may have a different opinion. He may be nice, but he is definitely not going to finish last. He is well rounded, too. In his 2025 VQS entry showed off the perfect mix of big tricks off the kickers to clean and unique rail tricks that had him standing out from the rest. Not only did the entry win him the “Best Video Entry” for his week of submissions, but it also earned him an invite to compete at the inaugural snowboard Rockstar Energy Open in the onsite qualifier.
