Lizzie Armanto

One of the most influential women in skateboarding, with multiple magazine covers, video parts, contest wins and signature products for Birdhouse, Vans, Bones Wheels, Triple 8 helmets and pads; Lizzie Armanto is truly on another level. Lizzie’s list of accolades is nothing short of impressive—she was the first woman to complete Tony Hawk’s full loop! Born to a Finnish father and American mother, Lizzie represented Finland at skateboarding’s inaugural Olympic appearance at the Tokyo 2020 Games. Originally from Ventura California, Lizzie started skating at 14 years old. Today she is married to Belgian pro skater Axel Cruysberghs and they live in Oceanside, California. In 2022 the couple shared a video part, “Ti;’ Death Do Us Part.” What will Lizzie do next? Well, she continues to inspire women around the world and she actively mentors younger skaters and helps develop skate programming for women and girls for Woodward West and Woodward Pennsylvania. Lizzie is a living legend.
