Tristan Rennies is best known for his backyard abilities, he can skate a proper pool better than just about any of his peers. Tight transitions: no problem. He tends to favor backside tricks, and we tend to favor him doing them, too. His backside airs are precise. His backside blunts over hips and backside indy disasters are textbook no matter the transition. His tattoos on each arm are of legendary spots, well-known for their heavy transitions. Mt Baldy full pipe on one and Upland on the other. Tristan grew up in Badlands and entered his first skate contest at the age of 7. It was at Upland. It’s been history in the making ever since. At 16 he won the Pro Division at the famed Vans Pool Party… that was in 2014. Can you imagine how dialed he is a decade later? True veteran status: achieved.
