The Story So Far & Face To Face to Headline Rockstar Energy Open 2025 with The Paradox & Teen Mortgage
Portland, get ready—the Rockstar Energy Open is set to ignite Waterfront Park with two nights of FREE concerts. Carrying the high energy from the street and park skateboard competitions into the night, Friday evening kicks off with The Paradox as the opener and Face to Face headlining, while Saturday features Teen Mortgage opening and The Story So Far closing out the night.

Rooted in the West Coast skate punk genre, Face to Face is a veteran punk rock band known for the melodic yet gritty sound, introspective lyrics and influential role in the 1990s punk revival. Now in their 30th year, Face to Face has maintained a consistent sound over the decades, earning respect for their DIY ethic, electric live performances, and staying power in a constantly evolving genre.

The Story So Far is a California-based pop-punk band known for their emotionally charged lyrics, high-energy performances, and melodic yet aggressive sound. Formed in Walnut Creek in 2007, the band helped shape the 2010s pop-punk revival.
Formed in 2017 by James Guile and Ed Barakauskas, Teen Mortgage blends elements of surf rock, sludge, and hardcore metal into short, high-intensity tracks that pulse with raw energy and anti-establishment bite. With thrilling live shows and a gritty DIY ethos, Teen Mortgage has carved out a reputation as one of the most uncompromising and electric acts in the contemporary punk underground.
Formed in June 2024, the Atlanta-based The Paradox has swiftly become a force in the pop punk scene. Following their initial performance, The Paradox attracted significant online and global attention. Their debut video achieved viral status, and within three weeks of establishing their social media presence, they had gained more than 730,000 followers, positioning them to be one of 2025’s most promising new acts.
