Nanami Onishi

Hailing from Japan but making podiums internationally, Nanami Onishi is on a mission to show the world what she’s working with on a skateboard. Grooming her skills in competitions around her home country for years, Nanami came seemingly out of nowhere in 2023 to take 3rd at the Uprising Tokyo event to leave her first impression. But as of 2026 she has found her way onto her first international podium by way of 2nd at the World Skate Sao Paulo World Championships—officially a global name to be reckoned with. Give her a course with a big stairset with a handrail and Nanami will show it no mercy. Front nosegrinds, her go-to. Front blunts, no problem. Backside 50-50 kickflip out, we’ve seen her do it before with the pressure on. She’s the real deal, world—watch out.
