There’s something about the style of Alex Midler that stands out no matter where you find him. Be it in the streets or in a contest run, Alex has an uncanny ability to make difficult tricks look easy while making rough spots appear smooth. A perfect example of this deception was his backside 360 into the legendary LA Carwash bank from the rooftop (landed back in 2020, featured in Illegal Civilization’s “Godspeed” video). Only a few skaters have earned a clip at this well-known spot, but nobody has done anything on that level or with such relative ease. Alex also knows how to keep his cool in a contest setting. Since 2013 as an Am and into his Pro status, he has been finding success and continued to impress. Be it an X Games, Tampa or a Copenhagen Open setting, Alex has managed to crack podiums with unmatched style.
