What does it take to film an incredible snowboard video part?
According to Nik Baden, it’s about finding your personal limits so you can push yourself. For Gabe Ferguson, it means keeping things interesting, which for him involves scaring yourself on a regular basis. In the end, both of them agree: the goal is to inspire people to get out and go snowboard.
“You’ve got to put in effort to inspire people,” says Nik. But it’s not always that simple. He explains how a 3–4 month filming window can make it tough to capture everything you want. Gabe agrees. “You get up early, you work hard… because the days are short, you’ve got to get out there and bust ass before the sun goes down,” says Gabe.
